About PsychWorkshop
Transforming Knowledge Into Action
Psychology isn't just something to study—it's something to live. At PsychWorkshop, we make psychological concepts practical, relatable, and easy to apply in everyday life.

Meet Dr. Kristen Mudge
Once people find out I'm a psychologist, they immediately begin asking big questions about everyday life—not in the abstract, textbook sense, but in ways that truly matter.
Why does my boss take credit for my work? Why does my friend keep making the same relationship mistakes? I think my partner has ADHD. What should I do? How do I know if I have anxiety?
These are the kinds of questions that inspired PsychWorkshop.
I created this platform because psychology offers practical answers that shouldn't be hidden inside academic journals or buried under complicated language. Everyone deserves access to knowledge that helps them better understand themselves and the people around them.

WHY PSYCHOLOGY MATTERS
Understanding People Changes Everything
Through both academic teaching and professional consulting, I've learned one simple truth: understanding why people behave the way they do doesn't simply satisfy curiosity—it transforms the way we treat one another.
When we understand the psychology behind someone's behavior, it becomes easier to respond with empathy instead of frustration. We begin to see people through the lens of their experiences, beliefs, values, personalities, and cultures rather than through assumptions.
Psychology reminds us that every individual experiences the world differently. By recognizing those differences, we create stronger relationships, healthier communication, and more meaningful human connections.
My hope is that through the knowledge shared on this site, you'll gain a deeper understanding of yourself and others—extending more patience, respect, and compassion in your everyday interactions.

WHAT THIS SITE IS
A Place Where Psychology Comes to Life
This is a place where I share the same concepts I teach in classrooms and organizations, applied to the everyday moments that actually make up our lives. Relationships. Work. Habits. The small frustrations and misunderstandings that pile up over time. Let's not forget about the joys and celebrations, too!
This site also serves as a resource for my students, a place that takes them beyond the textbook and deeper into the world of psychology and its history. You don't have to be one of my students to view those resources; everyone is welcome to learn!
